Das Buch bietet eine gute Übersicht über die einzelnen Prüfungsziele, außerdem erleichtert die Aufteilung eine Vorbereitung auf die jeweilige Prüfung (RHCSA|RHCE).Dennoch sollte man sich im Klaren darüber sein dass dieses Buch für die Prüfungsvorbereitung alleine höchstwahrscheinlich zu wenig sein wird. Die Dokumentation zu SELinux ist wirklich sehr gut gelungen und ermöglicht ein tiefgreifendes Verständnis der Materie, Shellscripting und iptables werden aber von anderen Autoren (z.B. Wolf, Spenneberg) sicher besser und umfangreicher erklärt.Es finden sich auch einige Fehler im Buch, die aber beim Nachvollziehen der Beispiele keine wirklichen Probleme verursachen sollten.Insgesamt doch 5 Sterne - die beste aktuell verfügbare Literatur zu RHCSA/RHCE.

What I miss in this book is a clear structure that allows you to study according to plan. I find the book confusing as it jumps back and forth between different subjects. Also some basic things are not explained and every reader is expected to know them. I haven't given up on the book yet but the confusing layout makes it hard to study for the exam.

Wieviel Einfluss das Buch wirklich hatte, kann ich jedoch schlecht beurteilen, da ich vor der Prüfung auch die zugehörigen Schulungen besucht habe. Inzwischen dient es eher als Nachschlagewerk.Fazit: gute Unterstützung für die Prüfung
